Difficult not to be seduced by the landscape, the wild, untouched nature and the crystal clear sea, making Hotel El Faro the perfect destination for lovers of scuba diving. Neptune’s Grotto
Having reached the port of Alghero, you board the motorboat that will take you to Neptune's Grotto. On the way you can admire the rugged coastline, the cobalt blue sea and the spectacular sheer cliff of Capo Caccia. When you reach the caves you will be impressed by the sight of stalactites and stalagmites created by nature, in a game of light and shadow that will remain forever etched in your memories. Its spaces are spectacular, with large tunnels and crystal clear lakes. Inside, the cave brings together a range of unrivalled natural features making it one of the most interesting and valuable of the entire Mediterranean basin.

Bosa
From Alghero, travel along the coastal road south towards Bosa. After 28 miles of breath-taking views where the rugged, unspoiled mountains plunge into the sea you get to Bosa. If you are lucky you may encounter the rare griffins in flight that inhabit this stretch of coast. Bosa, the unique Sardinian town, of some importance, situated on a navigable river, allows you to combine the cultural interest of its medieval old town and its monuments, including the imposing Malaspina Castle, with the natural beauty of the beaches and the coast.

The Nuraghi Valley (typical lunch included)
A morning full of artistic and archaeological visits. Apart from the Museum of Banari, in recent years having become very famous for the quality of displays it houses, you will visit the Nuraghe Santu Antine and Domus de Janas of St. Andrea Priu. Typical lunch in a restaurant/ farm.
On the way back you will make a brief stop at the Basilica of Saccargia.

Wine and Olive Oil Tasting
A few miles from Alghero you reach an old farmhouse, lovingly restored and used for welcoming travellers who wish to sample local quality products. The owner, the officer oil taster and sommelier will guide you among the rows of vines and olive trees explaining the whole meticulous production process that allows one to achieve excellent niche wines and extraordinary extra virgin olive oil. The tasting is accompanied by typical snacks from small local manufacturers and on-site you will have the chance to buy or have sent to you the products made by this prestigious enterprise. All this happens in a very beautiful and striking backdrop of elegance that characterizes this small, old farm.
